Glavine joins 300-club

New York Mets' pitcher Tom Glavine won his 300th game Sunday night in the Mets' 8-3 victory over the Chicago Cubs. Glavine went 6.1 innings, giving up six hits and two earned runs. The 41-year old left-hander is now 10-6 with a 4.31 ERA this season and has a 3.49 career ERA. He became only the 23rd pitcher in major-league history to win 300 games and only the fifth lefty to accomplish such a feat.
